About Us

Formed and federated in 1949, the Club is one of the oldest all-volunteer organizations in the City of League City, Texas, the “City of Oaks.” The Club funded and obtained a State Historical Commission Landmark plaque for League Park in 1981.

League City Bicentennial activities (1976):
  • The League Park Bicentennial Bandstand was spearheaded by the Club, which obtained the blueprints and raised funds for its construction. The bandstand was dedicated on July 4th, 1976.
  • The Club planted 200 Oak and pine tree seedlings throughout the city, that same year.

The Garden Club is a non-profit organization where all members and officers are volunteers. As a non-profit, we gladly accept public donations.
