LCGC September meeting

 Reminder that the September meeting will be held in the Johnnie Arolfo Ballroom on Wednesday September 10th at 10am.

All our other meetings will be held at the 144 Park Ave. venue.

We will be talking all things Garden Walk and Raffle.

We will also have a 10 minute presentation on propagation and getting in gear for the October 11 Bay Area Plant Swap & Shop. A sign-up sheet will be passed around for volunteers and plant donations.

Look at the latest on our new signage for the Hwy 3 League City Parkway Wildflower Project. The city of League City is graciously having two new signs made for us.

LCGC 2025 Garden Walk - Gardens Galore!

 

League City Garden Club Announces their 14th Annual Garden Walk, “Beautiful Backyard Vibes”.Peek at some of the most beautiful hidden gardens in League City as the League City Garden Club invites you to attend the club’s 14th Annual Garden Walk, “Beautiful Backyard Vibes,” Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10am to 4pm.

Tickets cost $20, maps included, and are available at Nana’s Attic, 501 E. Main St., at Founder’s Square, in Historic League City. Designed to be a self-guided tour, the Garden Walk features six beautiful private gardens, delightful hidden gems, each unique to the personality and wit of its owners. Each garden has its own charm, with whimsical pocket gardens, colorful blooming native plants, ingenious veggie and herb displays, waterfalls, fish ponds, glorious trees and blooming shrubs and perennials. Discover surprising treasures just beyond the garden gate, such as pergolas, ponds, fountains, fanciful colorful borders and pathways, koi, water lilies, eclectic and unusual containers, inviting relaxation areas, pools and decks, and color, color, color!

The Garden Walk event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, meet your neighbors, explore, make connections, and observe the beauty within League City. League City Garden Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to awarding youth scholarships, education, beautification, civic projects, and conservation of areas in League City.
