Public and Media Invited to Weekend Release of Rescued Hawks

Rare opportunity to watch rescued hawks fly free into the wild

The Wildlife Center of Texas , Houston's only trauma hospital that accepts all injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife is thrilled to invite the public and the media to the release of two rehabilitated red-tailed hawks. One of the hawks was found emaciated at NASA with a head injury. The second red-tailed hawk arrived at The Center at the end of September 2013 suffering from a fractured wing. After months of rehabilitation that included physical therapy, both hawks are now ready to be released back into their native habitat. The release of these two red-tailed hawks will be a rare video and photo opportunity and we look forward to having all everyone attend.
