Our next meeting will be Wednesday, 11-13-19 at 10:00a, at the Johnny Aroflo Center, 400 Walker St, League City, TX.
The speaker will be Karolyn Gephart presenting "The Art of Kokedamas." Kokedamas is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil wrapped with string. The plants can be displayed on a decorative surface or hung in a window.
The League City Garden Club is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in League City, Texas, supporting education and beautification projects within our community. Organized September 28, 1949, federated 1949.

LCGC October meeting
The October meeting will be held at Johnny Aroflo Center, 400 Walker street in League City.
Meeting begins at 10:00a and ends at 12:00 noon.
Our speaker for October is Chariss York.
Chariss will speak on Texas Community Watershed Partners . . .a rain garden is a garden
of native plants, perennials, and ornamentals planted in a depression, formed temporarily
to hold and soak in rainwater runoff that flows from roofs, driveways, patios, and lawns.
Chariss has been educating the public about the Ghirardi Family WaterSmart Park
and continues to monitor the data.
If anyone has an item we can use for the Raffle or the Horticulture Table, please bring to the meeting.
