The first Volunteer Event will be held on Saturday, November 2, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. We will plant American Beauty Berry Plants in the park, as well as do some additional Invasive Species removal around the pavilion area. This event will be limited to around 40 volunteers. The other event will be held on Friday, November 8, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We will expand the Butterfly Garden/Monarch Waystation area to double its current size. We will be adding new dirt, plants and planting seeds. We will also add dirt and plants to the existing beds in the park as well. This event will have registration at the park on the day of the event.

The speaker will be Karolyn Gephart presenting "The Art of Kokedamas." Kokedamas is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil wrapped with string. The plants can be displayed on a decorative surface or hung in a window.
